While i know that these are stated to be "cockatiel size" my cockatiel was unable to really break them appart. I have to take a hammer to them to make them easier for her to break. She would nibble on them after that. So, good pellets, just a little hard to break apart. =]

My cockatiel had a strictly seed diet before I bought him, but after I brought him home I put Zupreem Natural Diet in his cage and he ate it instantly. There were absolutely no issues converting. The cockatiel size is an issue though. They're a bit too big for my cockatiel and he has trouble breaking it down. Most of it just flings out of his cage when he tries. I've been breaking it down by hand for now, but for my cockatiel I'm going to start getting the Zupreem Natural Diet Parakeet Bird Food -- 2.25 lbs.
