This Organic Maintenance formula is for medium to large birds. It is to be used after completing a dietary program of Harrison's High Potency Formula for a period of at least six months. This is a year-round maintenance formula that meets the nutritional requirements for healthy, non-breeding birds including Pionus, Amazons, Cockatoos, Macaws, and other medium to large birds. Feeding instructions: 1. Feed fresh food daily 2. Birds may eat all they want, but the average daily amount to feed ranges from 1/2 tsp for Pionus up to 4 tsp for Macaws. I have three 'tiels,and one ornery Senegal.I feed them all Harrison's."Coarse" for my Senegal,and "Fine" for the 'tiels.They all love Harrison's,and I don't have to worry about any of them not getting a complete and appropriate diet.They are all very healthy,and none of them are overweight,a common problem for parrots if given a seed diet.
In addition to the Harrison's,I supplement their diet with sweet potato slices;peppers,etc.
All-in-all,Harrison's is,IMHO,the very best food out there for your feathered buddies.

Item arrived longer than expected (same time I order another kind of parrot food supposing same place and that one showed up next day)
But still Harrison is the best parrot food.And big chunks keep birds more busy, they like that size.
